Thanks for reposting that. Another one I missed, and glad I could read it now. Before reading your piece, I read a short piece from The Free Press by Condoleezza Rice. She didn’t get into all the history, but she brought up some personal experiences (remembering the bombing of that Southern Baptist church where the 4 little girls were killed). However, she also talked about her own success, and her gratitude. I enjoyed her essay.
However, you are always more complex in your take on things, which I very much appreciate. You have been and are a wonderful teacher. Thank you for making me more aware, making me question things, and mostly for allowing me to think.
