There is so much of interest in everyday living. The trick is to listen and observe others around the dinner table, the living room. Discern the meaningful from the banal. Bring into existence the unremarkable moments of life otherwise forgotten. Our duty as writers is to communicate the oneness in human families, regardless of race and skin color.
