What are your thoughts on AI 2027 by Daniel Kokotajlo?

Thanks for your question. I hope I addressed your question in my essay today, Something is Happening and I Am, I Am, Potato yesterday. AI 2027 is rich and overflowing with data and evidence. I have not read the entire magnum opus, however, I did scroll through the central forecast from start to finish. Be aware I am predisposed to believe non-conformers/smile. Having said that, I love how Kototajlo frames the issue before us. I tend to agree that we need a two-punch approach: (1) win the AI race with China and (2) align as if our lives depend upon it.

Thanks for your good question which inspired two essays out of me.

I’m naturally paranoid (or paranoid, naturally). I have a minor edit. “We must SPEED UP and win the race with China, and slow down….”
