One day, people will get it. I am happy I grew up in the "bad old days"/smile. My teachers were great and it would never, ever have occurred to them to treat me differently. Out competing my classmates on a level playing ground did wonders for my resilience and confidence in life.

Treat people differently and one robs kids of their change to know the the thrill of accomplishment and success. Image how strong students feel when they are held to exacting standards and they earn top academic scores in England. That's how you create a generation of winners -- employ the strictest headmistress in the country who holds inner-city kids to the highest standards. That 's how winning is done!

Well, Headmistress Katherine Birbalsingh is a beacon of hope. I love her strong sense of self and clear vision. She wants to bring students together while earning top GSE scores in England. Hollywood should make a movie about the strictest head of school in Great Britain. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13316589/headteacher-katharine-birbalsingh-defiant-message-parents-muslim-prayer-ban.html

As a retired teacher from southern California, I applaud this headmistress and her goals.

My best teachers in life had the vision, focus and drive of Headmistress Birbalsingh. She is a true inspiration for us all who care about learning in the classroom.

People like this give me hope. I don’t understand why these white women progressives cannot see how “racist” they are? On some level they seem to think blacks cannot succeed unless they are treated differently.

I cannot remember who it was, or which college, but I recently had the pleasure of seeing a video of a black woman college administrator telling a group of protesting students to get back to class. The very briefly challenged her, and she did not back down. Our schools need more of that! God bless these women.

Most schools, not tied to the government, attempt to operate this way. Her school would have lost the lawsuit in America as we go more woke every day. Success, critical thinking and learning is not the goal of our government run schools: indoctrination and division rule the day.

I keep hoping things will change. One of the good things about social media, and the ability to hear and read other points of views (because the MSM certainly isn’t giving them in too many cases) is that we have the opportunity to hear from people like Mr. Twyman and you.

There is always a silver lining/smile...to social media. And the same goes for writers. We get to communicate with like-minded people in the real world.
